Ceriated Tungsten Electrodes
The ceriated tungsten electrodes contain a minimum of 97.30% tungsten and 1.80 to 2.20% cerium. They are ideal for both AC and DC welding but work prominently well in DC welding at low current settings. As a non-radioactive tungsten electrode, the 2% ceriated is a perfect replacement of 2% thoriated.
Features
1. With no radioactive contamination, this TIG welding electrode is environment friendly. It features outstanding arc starts at low amperages.
2. At low direct current or in the case that the electrode diameter is less than 2.0mm, our ceriated tungsten electrodes show great popularity, especially in such applications as orbital tube and pipe fabricating, stainless steel welding, small and delicate parts welding, intermittent welding, as well as welding with specific quantity.
3. As compared with pure tungsten electrodes, this alloy electrode boasts lower burning rate and evaporation rate.
