Directional Drilling Swivels
HDD swivel is generally divided into double/single eye type. Single-eye swivel is suitable for the heavy-load rotation and coupling. With shackle on the swivel, there will be an auto adjustment space for the coupling part to protect the accessories. Shells of the pullback swivel are casted and forged from metal. We apply multi-layer rotate type imported bearings and components to bear the large dragging force. The mechanical structure employs the sealing design of Caterpillar. When the swivel works, users should put some sealed lubricating grease to ensure the system's smoothness.
HDD drilling is a construction technique to build, repair and replace underground pipeline without excavation utilizing pipeline detection technique. It uses drill rig to produce holes and receives the signal sent by drill bit to realize an effective control upon the movement path of holes. Its working process can be divided into 3 steps: hole drilling, hole expanding, and dragging pipeline back.
