Frangible Safety Seals
The permanent adhesive on frangible security seals quickly bonds to most surfaces, ensuring a quick security function in less than a minute. Frangible paper tears easily when removed, and after usage, the paper seal is removed, and the destructible security labels are designed to be torn into multiple pieces or delaminated.
Made of a synthetic paper, these safety seals are compatible with permanent ink and felt tip markets. Unlike film security labels, paper is receptive to a wide variety of writing and marking methods, including pencil, ink pen, felt markers, stamping dyes, thermal transfer printers, and more. This synthetic paper is also moisture resistant and are able to ensure limited outdoor exposure for up to 90 days in most environments.
Frangible safety seals are also ideal for commercial applications for printing serial numbers or bar codes upon request. The smooth surface is receptive to thermal transfer printing using a wax or resin ribbon.
Paper security seals typically cost less and are used in higher volume applications, including retail products, medications, confidential documents. Other typical applications include product cartons, medicine containers, envelopes, DVD/video tape containers, bottles, and more.
