FSK60A1 aluminum reinforced metal facing refers to a layer of 7 microns thick aluminum foil reinforced with tri-directional fiberglass scrim and 60gsm B grade Kraft. With lower cost than our FSK60A, the product is regularly used for duct wrapping. It is also used in combination with glass wool, rock wool, and other types of insulation material for roof or wall insulation in various types of buildings. With water vapor transmission rate of 5.75ng/N.s, the aluminum reinforced metal facing offers superior water vapor resistance.
