Fluorescent Light Fixture
A fluorescent light fixture is an electric device designed to create illumination. There are several types of fluorescent light fixtures as follows:
1. Straight tubular fluorescent lamp: This lamp is a double-capped fluorescent lamp. Its nominal power usually ranges from 4W to 125W. Its fluorescent tube comes in four commonly used sizes, T5, T8, T10 and T12. T5 fluorescent light fixture features long lifespan (10000 hours on average), high luminous efficiency and good color rendering index, and is suitable for use in clothing stores, supermarkets, food stores, fruit shops, display windows, etc. T8 fluorescent light fixture is bright, energy efficient, and is widely used in hotels, offices, shops, hospitals, libraries, houses, and other places where high brightness is required.
2. Circular fluorescent lamp: This fluorescent lamp is usually used as the auxiliary light source for ceiling lamps, and chandeliers, etc. Common nominal power includes 22W, 32W and 40W.
3. Single-ended compact fluorescent lamp: This type of fluorescent lamp combines a tube, a ballast and lamp holder in an integrated unit. As the single-ended compact fluorescent lamp works well in most existing incandescent light fixtures, more and more consumers use it to replace incandescent lamps.
