SSAW Pipe Mill
The SSAW pipe mill takes a coil of steel, uncoil it, flatten it, and sent it to a roll forming machine at an angle to form a round pipe under the action of bending forces from the three rolls. After that, a submerged arc welder is used to close the continuous, helical weld seams. Spiral welded pipe mill equipment can handle larger diameter steel pipes than is possibly done with the ERW pipe mill.

Wanxin SSAW pipe equipment produces spiral welded pipes meeting API-5L, ASTM, and IS standards. The advanced electrical control system incorporates SIEMENS PLC for a high level of automation, digital display for user-friendly operation, Eurotherm AC speed adjustment and control system, and DELTA variable frequency drive.
