Paclobutrazol is a plant growthretardant and triazole fundicide in a grayish-white powder or off-white liquid.

Application

1. Paclobutrazol inhibits gibberellin biosynthesis and is involved in reducingabscisic acid, ethylene and indole-3-acetic acid while increasing cytokininlevels. Use on fruit trees to inhibitvegetable growth and improve the fruit set, increase tillering on rice, reducelodging, and retard growth on turf. Paclobutrazol protects plantsagainst abiotic stresses such as drought stress.
2. Paclobutrazolprotects crops against mildew and rusts.
