Coumarone Resin
Low Softening Point Resin as Rubber Softener and Tackifier
Coumarone resin is a brown granular, massive, or flake solid thermoplastic resin. The resin is a polymer with a low molecular weight that uses coal tar, C9 fraction and ethylene tar as raw materials. The hydrocarbon resin is generated using a polymerization reaction, and has an excellent stability, mutual solubility, water resistance, insulation PH chemical stability, great adhesion properties and a low thermal conductivity.
ALX™-U coumarone resin ethylene tar, carbon nine is the raw material obtained from a catalytic polymerization reaction. The product's appearance is yellow, brown, or black and is a massive solid.

Shelf Life and Storage
The hydrocarbon resin belongs to the non-dangerous goods category. During transport, it should not be exposed to sun and rain. The hydrocarbon resin should also not be moved together with spontaneously consumable materials, strong oxidants or strong acids. When storing this resin, keep the storage area ventilated, cool and dry. The storage period is usually a year, however, if the hydrocarbon resin passes inspection after the 1 year period, it can still be used.
