Constant Voltage Constant Current (CV/CC) Principles
YIHUA-602D DC power supply can automatically convert under the condition of constant voltage constant current work mode. Its status is determined through the comparison between the values of loading current and limited current.
1. Constant Voltage Mode (CV)
The power device works in the constant voltage mode, when the current value is smaller than the set output limited current. The front panel constant voltage indicator will light up. Meanwhile, the output voltage will be controlled to be the same as the set value. The current will change according to the load.
2. Constant Current Mode (CC)
When the current value exceeds the limit value of the output current, the power unit will work in the mode of constant current. Besides that, the constant current indicator of front panel will light up, and the output current value will be controlled within the set value. Since the limited output power can not overload, the output voltage will be lower than the set value. Once the output current is lower than the set value, the YIHUA-602D DC power supply will automatically convert to the constant current work mode.
