Walnut Shell Filter
Application
Walnut shell filters utilize the naturally occurring properties of walnut shell filter material to filter and adsorb insoluble substances within water. These filters are especially suitable for oily sewage treatment and wastewater treatment in chemical, metallurgy, and mining industries. They are also suitable for surface water purification with turbidity less than 100, including rivers, lakes, and reservoirs.

Design Details
The original water first flows through the packing layer to remove suspended solids and other debris. Then, filtered water flows out of the main body. When the filler layer impurities accumulate, the flow rate is reduced. At a certain rate the backwash device initiates, and the impurities are washed back to the main body to ensure the overall filtration sustainability.

The high-speed walnut shell filter is composed of the main body, the head, the stirring device, the bracket, the inlet and outlet system, the backwashing device, the filter medium and so on.

Features
(1) We apply fine treatment to walnut shells for use as an effective filler, with nice uniformity in particle size.
(2) The weight of the filter material is light and has better adsorption and filtration performance.
(3) The water consumption of backwashing is low.
(4) Strong adsorption ability of oil. The filler does not hold oil, and is cheap and easy to clean.
