Henkel Loctite SI 5910 silicone flange sealant is a low strength silicone-based gasketing sealant suitable for use on flexible flanges, with good resistance to oil and joint movement.
Loctite® SI 5910 silicone flange sealant is primarily suited for use on flexible flanges with machined or cast surfaces (metal or plastic). It can handle gaps of up to 1mm, and achieve a cure-through volume of 2.75mm in 24 hours. This silicone flange sealant is typically applicable to stamped sheet metal covers, e.g. timing covers and oil sumps.
