Applications
The XSF spiral type water treatment sand water separator designed for compatibility with sand water separation systems in sewage treatment plants and grit chambers.
Design principle
The sand-water mixture from the grit chamber flows into the sand-water separation groove and is separated, the water spills into the outside of the pond and the sand subsides onto the bottom of the groove. The rotating spiral shaft transmits the sand from the 25° spiral groove to the outlet in the top, and the sand will be separated again in the transmission process to ensure the water content of the sand in the outlet does not exceed 60%.

The spiral type water treatment sand water separator includes the actuating device, screw device, water tank, U-groove and wear strip.
(1) The actuating device utilizes a shaft mounted speed reducer to maintain direct connection with the spiral shaft. There is a pedestal bearing in the top of the sand transmission groove, the pedestal bearing is protected and sand. With the pedestal bearing, the machine can be lubricated and maintained easily.
(2) The machine adopts the shaftless spiral to prevent blockage during the material transmission.
(3) The spiral sand transmission groove is U-section and the installation angle is about 25°. The feed inlet is open, the rest parts are all sealed structure with the flat cover and the installation style is detachable. And the feed outlet is installed at the top.
(4) The spiral sand transmission groove and water tank is an integrated structure with enough strength and rigidity to prevent leakage. The integrated structure is supported and fixed on the concrete foundation by profile steel.

(1) The separating efficiency is about 90%-98%, and particles whose diameter is more than 0.2mm can be separated.
(2) The water treatment sand water separator adapts a shaftless spiral, without the bearing in water, and maintenance is easy.
