SOOW Cable
Service cord Oil-resistant insulation and Oil-resistant jacket Weather/Water-resistant (SOOW) cable has annealed copper conductors per ASTM B3 or NMX-J-036 ANCE with EPDM insulation and a CPE jacket. This highly flexible and portable SOOW cord is abrasion, ozone, sunlight, corrosion, oil and water resistant.
SOOW cable is to be used at a maximum voltage of 600V and at conductor temperatures of 60℃, 75℃, 90℃ or 105℃.
SOOW cable is suitable for heavy duty industrial applications, small motors, portable appliances and machinery, etc.
Our SOOW cable meets the requirements of ASTM B3 for soft or annealed copper wire and the requirements of UL 62 for flexible cords and fixture wires. It has passed the following tests: FT2 flame test, FT1 flame test, ink durability test, dielectric constant measurement, dielectric voltage withstand test, corrosion test, weathering test, cold bending test, conductor resistance test, insulation test, sheath resistance testing, etc.
