Aluminum Coated Fiberglass Heat Reflective Sleeving
Description
The Jdd -CAFR is a specially designed sleeving that laminates an aluminized metallic heat shield to a layer of strong and tight braided fiberglass yarn. A special manufacturing process permits the sleeve to have a virtually seamless and non-fraying construction. The aluminized fiberglass sleeve reflects more than 95% of the radiant energy that hits the surface, keeping the underlying cables, hoses and wires cool.
Applications
The aluminum coated fiberglass heat reflective sleeving is most often used as heat protection for industrial wires, cables, and hoses that are in extremely high temperature environments, such as a water hose in an engine room.
