The GRP pipe (glass reinforced plastic pipe) has got the ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO18001, and CTAA certificates. The pipe meets the Standards of Drinking Water Quality, which is a Chinese national standard. The pipe features high density, and is odorless, tasteless, non-toxic, and corrosion-resistant. During the usage, no bacteria, scale, water incrustation, or iron ion, will be generated. Thus the material being transferred won’t get polluted.

Feature of GRP pipe
1. Great physical performance
The density of the GRP pipe is 1.8-2.1g/cm³, one forth of steel pipe. However the pipe's specific strength is higher than steel pipe, casting iron pipe, and plastic pipe. The weight of glass reinforced plastic pipe is usually 1/3 higher than that of steel pipe in the same size. GRP has excellent physical and mechanical performance, and great heat and electric insulation performance. Besides, its coefficient of thermal expansion is generally the same to steel, while the heat conductivity is only 0.5% of steel’s value.

2. Excellent chemical corrosion resistant and long service life
Our GRP pipe has excellent chemical corrosion resistance. If you need your pipe to be corrosion resistant and last long, this pipe will be an ideal choice.

3. Good hydraulic performance
Good hydraulic performance means small flow pressure loss. Thus pipe with smaller diameter and pump with smaller power are needed. That means less investment on pipeline and less power consumption.

4. Low installation and maintenance cost
Generally, the GRP pipe doesn’t need special anti-corrosive treatment. The heat insulation layer is also thinner, or even can be saved. The light weight of the pipe needs smaller hoisting equipment. Each section of pipe can be longer, and the installation can be easy and quick.

5. Flexible design and short modification time
The fiber reinforced material immersed by resin matrix is coiled on a core model, and then cured. Thus a stratified structure is formed. Different reinforced material and resin solution can be used to obtain proper physical and chemical performance. The whole process is simple and needs short modification time.
