Application
The electroslag welding machine can be used for welding of the internal vertical welding seam between the box girder cover plate and the internal baffle. So it is an essential equipment for box girder production. It can be divided into two types according to the electroslag welding method: consumable guide electroslag welding (hereinafter referred to as ESW-MN) and electroslag welding with wire electrode (hereinafter referred to as ESW-WE).

Technical features
The electroslag welding machine has the following features:

1. For purchase cost, the ESW-WE is higher than the ESW-MN.
2. With no consideration of the labor cost, the use cost of the ESW-WE is lower the that of the ESW-MN.
3. The ESW-WE has higher production efficiency than ESW-MN.
4. The ESW-MN and ESW-WE has respective advantages: the greatest strength of the ESW-MN is extremely low price and simple maintenance; the greatest strength of the ESW-WE is extremely low use cost and relatively high productivity. Our customers should make reasonable choice according to the specific circumstances such as up-front investment, production lot size of the box girder etc.
5. The traveling speed of the machine can be divided into two types: high speed and low speed, which can ensure rapid and precise positioning of electroslag welding hole.
6. The cantilever beam can be driven by motor, reduction gear, screw rod and screw nut, thus realizing adjustment of vertical lifting.
7. There is a vertical guide mechanism at the contact point of the cantilever beam and upright post, so that the lifting of cantilever beam is flexible and stable. The initial height positioning of the electroslag welding hole can be realized.
8. The cantilever beam is equipped with a horizontal travel unit. It can drive the horizontal moving of mobile object and welding torch through adjustment, so that it can realize horizontal precise positioning of the electroslag welding hole.
9. The cross slides can carry out fine adjustment of the welding torch during electroslag welding to prevent positional deviation during welding.
10. The head installation rack of the wire feeder is adjustable to meet the welding requirements.
11. The electric cabinet is installed on the platform chassis, meanwhile the control box is fixed on the mobile welding torch, so the operation of the electroslag welding machine can be quite convenient and flexible.
