Ammonia Production Gas Analyzing
Gas analysis is the most common and widely used means of production control in the processing and production of synthetic ammonia. A timely and accurate understanding of the content of each component of production gas is of great significance for stable production, production increases, reducing consumption, quality improvement and avoiding accidents.
Here are two examples of gas-making and synthesis sections which briefly show the application of a gas analysis system in the ammonia synthesis industry.
Raw coal is intermittently fed into the gas generator. Air is filled into the furnace and the temperature of the furnace is raised. Then the steam and nitrogen-added air are added into it and changed into semi-water gas. The semi-water gas is put into the scrubbing tower for dust removal and cooling, and finally pumped into the semi-water gas holder.
- Low pressure: Some customers' process pressure is insufficient to overcome the resistance of transmission system and pretreatment system
- Dirty gas: high water content and excessive tar, sulfide and dust which need to be pretreated.
- Oxygen content should be detected for safety control. High requirements for detection accuracy, response time, system reliability and stability
The detection of oxygen content in the gas-making section is mainly for safety control. Semi-water gas contains a large number of combustible gases such as carbon monoxide, hydrogen, etc. If the oxygen content exceeds 0.8%, it can create a safety hazard.
- The controller of the host computer is microprocessor type, which requires explosion-proof performance with an explosion-proof grade of ExdIICT6.
- Man-machine interface.
- Quick response speed and long-term stability.
- The SR-2000Ex explosion proof infrared gas analyzer can be used to detect the designated gas content in mixed gas backgrounds such as CO, CO2, CH4, SO2, NH3, H2O, NOx and other hydrocarbons.
- The micro-sensor (MEMS) we use features a high precision and integration micro-processing technology, as well as a high detection accuracy and stable performance.
- The process gas analysis system is designed according to specific working conditions and sample gas conditions.
