Shear End Welder
The shear end welder does double duties. It cuts jagged, irregular parts off the leading and trailing edges of the steel strip, and then butt welds together the tail end of the current steel strip and the lead end of the next one so as to ensure a continuous, uninterrupted steel strip supply.
Typical uses of our butt welder are on the welded pipes and cold-formed steel sections production line for improved productivity, weld quality and reduced workload. Controlled by a microcomputer, the shearing machine is a hydraulically powered unit that utilizes a gas welding process to joins two steel coils together. Easy set-up, convenient use, and reliable, accurate movement are three major advantages of this shear end welder. Main parts making up this machine include the bodywork, pinch-roll, shear, weld clamp, butt-welder, hydraulic and electrical systems.
