Application
The slitter separator disc (guide disc) is used on the shaft of slitter for separation and guidance of slit narrow materials, facilitating to rewind materials into narrow coils. Because of the heat generated by frequent friction with materials, the separator disc's abrasion performance and surface finish are required to be extremely high.
Material introduction
The slitter separator discs Seton produced are generally made from GCr15, 9CrSi, SKD-11 etc. The surface of separator disc is polished and chrome plated to improve its surface abrasion resistance and fineness.

- With surface polished and chrome plated, the surface hardness HRC≥60, and the smoothness ≤0.01mm.
- The overall hardness of the separator disc is HRC60-64, with the abrasion resistance remarkably enhanced.
Custom made
The slitter separator discs have a commonly used size of 80mm-400mm diameter, 0.9-20mm thickness, and the selection of materials are based on customers' drawings requirements.
