The antibacterial air filter replacement uses low initial resistance substrate as filter material with different antibacterial agents embedded or sprayed on it to kill pathogenic microorganisms or effectively inhibit their growth and reproduction.

According to the JIS L1902-2008 standard, the efficiency of removing bacteria was 93.71% after natural bacteria was treated 60 minutes. The removal efficiency is 99.98% for staphylococcus aureus and 99.99% for staphylococcus albus.

This series of filters can not only filter large particles of dust in the air but also have good antibacterial properties. Therefore, they can be used for prefiltering in the front ends of air purifiers, central air-conditioning new air units and ventilation systems to replace the G3 and G4 filters. It’s economical and efficient.

Configuration
  • Frame: High-strength cardboard frame with durable and lightweight features.
  • Filter media: The filter media is covered with V-cell pleated structure or laid on the surface of the filter element.
  • Size: Length, width and thickness can be customized according to customer requirements.
  • Optional antibacterial agent
    • Dissolution antibacterial agent:
      The metal ions (such as silver ions, copper ions, zinc ions, etc.) or their compounds with antibacterial activity are fixed to the porous medium (such as zeolite, silica gel, hydroxyapatite) by physical adsorption, ion exchange, etc.
    • Photocatalyst electrodeless antibacterial agent:
      Non-toxic, harmless and relatively low price. The main antibacterial agents are N-type semiconductor metal oxides, such as TiO2, ZnO, SiO2. Among them, TiO2 has rather high oxidation activity, good stability, completely harmless to the human body and has excellent broad spectrum antibacterial efficacy.
    • Nano antibacterial agents:
      Made of antibacterial agents coated nanosized powders. Because the nanosized carrier has larger specific surface area, the microorganisms can be better adsorbed and the antibacterial effect is better. The antibacterial property of nano antibacterial agents is much better than that of micro antibacterial agent.

Test method: According to JIS L1902-2008, the treated or untreated sample was inoculated for a certain time and its colonies number was measured.
