Our steel coil slitting line is widely used for cutting narrow coils from main coils. The thickness can be up to 20mm, width up to 2200mm, cutting speed up to 100m/min.           A typical use for this slitting machine is on the ERW pipe production line where a variety of pipes can be produced including the tape water pipe, radiator pipe, and structural tubing, among various others.

          Features of Slitting Line
          1. PLC system, digital variable-speed DC motor drive, interlinked transmission, self-locking device.
          2. Each of many parts has an independent hydraulic system that enables separate, automatic control.
          3. Two operating methods are available, automatic and manual mode. For thin-wall steel strips, the slitting machine can be manually operated. In either operation mode, the machine runs at a constant speed.
          4. Multiple sets of vertical guide rollers ensure steel strips do not go astray as they advance through the slitter.
          5. Scraps are cut off from both the lead and tail end of the steel strip. Each end should yield the same width of scraps to avoid slippage cutting action.
          6. At the front and rear of the roll slitter are hydraulic tilt tables that facilitate the transfer of strip steel as well as the replacement of slitter arbor, slitter knife, and spacer.
          7. The rapid slitter knife change-out mechanism is hydraulically powered to pull the roll slitter from both sides. Along the slitter arbor are small protrusions designed to form keyed joints with spacers and slitter knives. To firmly secure the knives and spacers in place on the arbor, bolts are also used.
